November Newletter

Counseling Topics:

In October, the guidance lesson was on making healthy choices.  I read Mariko Wears Her Thinking Cap.  We discussed ways to be healthy: eating healthy foods, exercising, getting plenty of rest, and making wise decisions.
Please encourage your child to eat healthy, exercise, get plenty of rest and make wise decisions.

In November, I will be reading The Way I Feel and we will be discussing the importance of knowing how others feel so that we can respond to their feelings appropriately.  We will be identifying basic feelings and possible causes for those feelings, also.

Character Words:
Our character education words for the month are Self-Esteem/Pride.  Have your child make a list of things they are good at and a list of things they like about themselves.

Needed Items:
If your child has any old play clothes that you would like to donate, please send them to me.  We are always having accidents and are in need of a change of clothes.  Thanks
