Counseling Topics:

This month, our whole group guidance lesson is on Conflict Resolution.

We are discussing that conflicts are arguments, disagreements, and /or fights with others.  In the movie, Working It Out, the students learn about six steps to solving conflicts:

1. STOP

2. ASK QUESTIONS

3. TALK ABOUT IT

4. LISTEN TO EACH OTHER

5. THINK OF IDEAS

6. MAKE A DEAL

Our Character Education Focus Words: 

Citizenship– you  take responsibility for what goes on in your community, state, and/or country

Loyalty– you are reliable, follow through on commitments

Please discuss with your child about being a  loyal citizen.
