November Newsletter

Counseling Topics:

In October, the guidance lesson was on making healthy choices.  I read Mariko Wears Her Thinking Cap.  We discussed ways to be healthy: eating healthy foods, exercising, getting plenty of rest, and making wise decisions.
We celebrated Red Ribbon Week, also!

Please encourage your child to eat healthy, exercise, get plenty of rest and make wise decisions.

In November,  we are learning about Veterans Day.   I will be reading The Way I Feel along with other books on feelings and we will be discussing the importance of knowing how others feel so that we can respond to their feelings appropriately.  We will be identifying basic feelings and possible causes for those feelings,  too.

Feel free to contact me any time with questions and/or comments.  I will do whatever I can to help your child have a positive experience at AEEC.
